I like the feature of a 30-minute sunset because it gives me time to get into bed and sort myself while still having light. I don’t have to get up to switch my bedroom light off and turn my room into instant blackness. I love the peaceful descent into slumber. The light can get as bright as you want it; to me, it simulates the sun. They say there are 3 colors to choose from, but you can’t choose. The light is more red and orange at low light and slowly becomes yellow as the light gets brighter. At first, I was disappointed that there weren't any color options, but now I’m not sure I would use multiple options, as I want to simulate natural light as much as possible.

This is especially helpful during those dark winter days! I love my body clock! I started using these about 8 years ago, and they are magical. I feel better waking up with the “sunrise.” On days that I’m having a hard time, I will go to sleep with the “sunset” feature. I don’t use the noises or anything like that, but I love my sunrise.

I bought this on October 29, 2017, and it stopped working yesterday, September 5, 2025. I used it daily for 7 years and 10 months, and it NEVER malfunctioned.
